This is a Part Time or Full Time position with an opportunity to earn as much as $15, $20, $25 per hour or more based on YOUR performance! There is a base rate of $13 per hour plus bonuses but our associates are making much more! We need enthusiastic individuals to fill several openings at various Home Depot stores throughout Maryland and are scheduling interviews now!

In this position you are a Blue Dot employee staffed in a Home Depot store, representing the company by approaching customers about their HVAC needs. You MUST be an outgoing person to be successful in this position. You also must have weekend availability as those are the best days in the store.

Blue Dot, Maryland’s neighborhood HVAC provider for over 50 years, is looking for experienced Residential HVAC Service Technicians to join our Service team!

You will perform preventative maintenance service for residential customers including heat pumps, gas systems, oil and air conditioning units.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with dispatch and parts to provide customers timely and accurate service
  • Perform HVAC maintenance in accordance to company standards
  • Service customers by listening to customer concerns, performing designated work and proactively solving problems
  • Document all work performed according to company procedure
  • You MUST maintain a professional conduct at all times and have a “clean cut” appearance
  • All other duties assigned

Job Requirements
The qualified candidate will have:
  • 4+ years experience in residential HVAC services
  • A high school diploma or GED
  • EPA Certificate
  • Must obtain or be close to obtaining your HVAC Journeyman License 
  • Valid driver’s license and good communications skills.
  • Requires the ability to raise, manipulate and maneuver tools, components, and materials and handle a variety of items, equipment, control knobs, switches, etc.
  • Must be able to use body members to work, move, and lift or carry heavy objects of up to 50 pounds to include ductwork, furnaces or materials.
  • Must be able to fluently speak, read and write in English language
  • Must pass extensive criminal background and MVR check
  • Must pass pre-employment drug test

Qualified Install Techs will apply their technical skills and knowledge to install, start up and troubleshoot new systems, and install ventilation, heating and air conditioning systems used in residential settings. We are looking for an experienced Installation Tech with 3 years of experience to help us keep with our growth. 
  

Job Requirements

The qualified candidate will have:
• A minimum of two years experience in HVAC Installs
• A High School diploma or GED (general education degree).
• Working knowledge of national codes and best practices.
• A working knowledge of electrical and gas diagnostics and air flow are preferred.
• Requisite basic certifications (EPA Universal)
• A valid drivers’ license and good communications skills.
